I love Andrea’s classes. I have a lot of worry in my life and yet I leave Andrea’s classes feeling happy, relaxed, and tranquil. I love the flowing nature of dru – you can feel the peace of it running through you and it makes you feel at one with the world. Yoga breathing is a revelation! Andrea is such a kind and unthreatening teacher – so if you’re not sure, just give it a go, you’ll be so glad you did.

Following a very dark period in my life Andrea is playing a big part in my task to ‘carry on’. I now feel able to connect with her session of beautiful relaxation and calm. Andrea’s yoga class is now the highlight of my week! I searched for almost a year to find a teacher in York who was right for me and also close to my home – it was definitely worth the wait. My energy levels are increasing and I am feeling more balanced and relaxed. Andrea plans each class carefully with subtle adaptations to include everyone, and the sessions flow seamlessly. Andrea is an inspiring teacher who radiates positivity and enthusiasm – roll on Thursday!

I am relatively new to Andrea’s yoga classes. (May 2013). The classes are welcoming and I feel that Andrea has a gift for passing on the physical and spiritual side of yoga. Her calming manner is both encouraging and inspirational. No matter how difficult my day has been I always look forward to the classes and leave refreshed and energised.

I have been joining Andrea in one of her Yoga classes for the last year. As a mature member -over 70- Andrea has enabled me to learn to relax- something that does not come easy to me.
The classes are always interesting and I always leave with a feeling of wellbeing; she is a very competent and sensitive instructor and I would certainly recommend anyone to join her sessions, you will feel better

I have been attending Andrea’s yoga classes since January 2013 and find them extremely enjoyable and helpful on a number of levels, she is very safe, experienced and related teacher who manages to infuse every session with calm enthusiasm and inspires us all, the atmosphere in the classes is extremely friendly and welcoming and everyone feels accepted.
The Yoga combines a deceptively simple fluid Dru yoga with breath work, Asanas, meditational and visualisational elements.
Physically I feel so much better from the classes, almost all my aches and pains have gone. Mentally I feel more centred and better able to concentrate. Emotionally I feel much better able to cope with a demanding job and relationships. Spiritually I feel yoga brings me back to myself and allows me to feel free and connected.
I do not know anyone who would not benefit from Andrea’s classes, she brings so much to them on so many levels, I believe she is a truly gifted teacher and I an so grateful to her.

In the midst of our busy and often noisy lives it is so important to carve out some time to find stillness peace and harmony, to listen to our body mind and spirit, through Dru yoga Andrea helps us do just this, with the added benefit of increased flexibility and strength, as she leads us in a lovely gentle way.

I have been doing yoga with Andrea for 4 years, i love it, it is both relaxing and energizing in equal measures, i am a much calmer person and would recommend yoga to everyone, whatever age or fitness level.

I ve done yoga for many years and had teachers who, like Andrea really know their stuff, Andrea differs because she makes me feel so good about myself.
Within a year, i lost weight without dieting, and became much fitter. She is always cheerful and encourages her students to make the most of each day, i look forward to her classes very much.

I do a lot of endurance and cardio exercise; cycling, swimming, running, gym, and find yoga complements these perfectly; improving flexibility, balance, core strength, and develop stretches to prevent injuries. After an active weekend I always look forward to Andrea’s Monday class , a nice way to start the working week, and great for mind and body.

I really love the way that Andrea’s yoga sessions just flow. As we move through the poses she is great at explaining the benefits of each one. Her approach helps me to focus my energy in a way that means I come away feeling peaceful and calm – and ready to enjoy the rest of my day.

I decided to give yoga a go after suffering lower back pain on and off for many years.All I can say is I wish I had started yoga sooner. Andrea’s yoga class is helping me understand which areas I need to work on to alleviate my back pain. Andrea’s classes are friendly and varied. She quickly learns your limits and suggests ways to achieve a given pose or suggests an alternative if the current one we are working on is too challenging.The classes are friendly and very relaxing. Yoga appears to be the ideal complement for any other sport or fitness training that you are in to.

Our yoga classes are invigorating, energising and relaxing – the perfect de-stresser.We are introduced to different disciplines of yoga to keep us challenged, all whilst ensuring we work to our own limits.

I find Yoga practice both uplifting and relaxing. Andrea doesn’t expect you to do something your body can’t – always tells you to listen to your own body. My Yoga practice is my “me time”Thank you Andrea
