Full Moon Earthing  floor based Yoga.
Find stillness and greater depth by holding poses longer in a floor based Yoga.
On a physical level, enhances the natural range of motion in the joints. By keeping your muscles soft, you release deep layers of connective tissue, creating more ease in any style of yoga and in seated meditation.

On an energetic level,  enhances the flow of prana (life force) in the tissues around the joints, where energy often stagnates.

Sequences are often geared toward strengthening certain energy channels (called nadis in yoga or meridians in Chinese medicine), which ultimately support the organs, immune system, and emotional well-being.

A grounding Yoga class to balance the Energy of the Full Moon plus a Sound session to completely relax and release tension.

Drum Circles…These will alternate with Gong Sound sessions.

Drumming in a group can increase the feelings of community, self expression without words, heighten awareness of rhythm, cultivate creativity, improve co-ordination and motor skills. And above all else …. it’s great fun !

The drum was one of the earliest instruments crafted by humans. Community drumming has been used for thousands of years in different cultures and civilisations across the world. Current research indicates that drumming has many therapeutic benefits including:

Accelerating physical healing
Reduces tension, anxiety and stress
Helps control chronic pain
Boosts the immune system
Lowers blood pressure
Releases negative feelings, blockages and emotional trauma
It has been shown that drumming promotes the production of endorphins and ‘feel good chemicals’ in our brain. It also promotes production of endogenous opiates, the bodies own morphine-like pain killers. Therefore drumming may help to control pain and induce a sense of well being.

Bring your own Drum if you have one.
